You have the chance to be involved with a great group of people and the biggest feel-good event in town. Become a volunteer for the 11th annual West Linn Arts Festival in 2010.
Dates for the event are September 11 & 12, 2010.
Working for West Linn Arts Festival is a positive and rewarding time well spent.
Our efforts help bring the community together to celebrate the arts, and we have a lot of fun making it all happen.
Volunteer Coordinator: Sign up and organize the volunteers. Oversee volunteer activities at the show.
Student Art: Help with the West Linn High School Art student art projects or with the “Silent Auction” conducted by the students in the West Linn High School Art Booth.
Set-up and Check In: Help with the Artist check in and booth location Friday evening and Saturday morning.
Signs and Posters: Help get the word out! Distribute posters to local merchants. Set up festival signs in and around the area prior to the event.
Facilities: Help set up and empty trash and recycling receptacles throughout the day, deliver water, etc. to artists.
Art Lover or People Person: Get an insider's view while you booth sit for artists, staff the Hospitality Booth, or help Festival Staff. Conduct surveys.
Music and Entertainment: Ever had the desire to be an announcer? Here’s your chance. We need an MC for the show to introduce acts and make announcements. Or be a stage hand and assist with the stage acts.
Parking: Oversee parking and troubleshoot traffic at entrance to the park.
Shoppers: Every woman’s dream! We will need shoppers for food, drink, etc.
Children Activities: Organize activities for children like face painting, balloons, etc.
Volunteers are our lifeblood over the weekend, and we cannot do it without them or thank them enough. If you want to sign up or want more information on being a volunteer, please contact Lily Von at lily.von@gmail.com or 801–592–4785.
Together we'll put on a Great Arts Event for a Wonderful Community.
